San Diego, November 10, 2015 – Menon Renewable Products, Inc. is in discussions to produce and deliver between 100,000 to 200,000 tons of MrFeed® product to some of the biggest international shrimp feed producers, distributors, hatchery owners and fish farm operators in Asia. The company has been working together with these customers to verify the superior growth rates and survivability of shrimp fed diets incorporating MrFeed®. The producers and distributors have demonstrated interest in using MrFeed® as an ingredient up to 80% of shrimp feed. Purchase contracts secured with line of credit are being drafted for multiple years to ensure repeat orders of MrFeed® over time. As production capacity increase, repeat orders can be scaled up in size.
“The team has been very successful working onsite at feed mills owned by international feed producers, at ponds and farms owned by major operators, and within offices of feed distributors. The team has created a shrimp and fish feed that contains high protein, omega-3s and creates above average weight gain and survivability. By using MrFeed® as an ingredient it allows our customers to have a more diverse feed formulation.” stated Suresh Menon, Ph.D., President of Menon Renewable Products, Inc.
