Chris Lischewski – (MRP)
Mr. Lischewski currently serves as the President and CEO of Bumble Bee Seafoods LLP. He has held this positon since 1999 and during his tenure, has built Bumble Bee into the largest branded seafood company in North America. Prior to Bumble Bee, Mr. Lischewski held executive positions with management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, H. J. Heinz, StarKist Seafoods and ConAgra Foods. Mr. Lischewski has a proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies including business restructuring. His accomplishments at Bumble Bee include the design and implementation of a low cost manufacturing matrix, the revitalization of major retail brands and the introduction of innovative new products which together have achieved a substantial increase in enterprise value. Mr. Lischewski holds a BS in Finance and Accounting and an MBA in International Finance from the University of Southern California.
Chuck Austin, Advisory Board Member – (MBI)
Investor, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Expert, Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals – (MII Advisory Group)
Mr. Austin has over 25 years of experience in Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals. Most recently he served as Corporate Vice President, Global Supply Chain at Johnson and Johnson, and was a member of the J&J Management Committee. In this role he was responsible for over 60,000 associates at 130 sites around the world while overseeing over 500 external manufacturers, over $22BB in direct spend, and supported in excess of $70BB in sales. He has held numerous leadership positions within Johnson and Johnson including Company Group Chairman, Ethicon Surgical Care, Worldwide President, Ethicon Endo-Surgery, and Worldwide President, Advanced Sterilization Products. Additional roles at Johnson and Johnson included Vice President, Global Pharmaceutical Sourcing Group, and numerous other roles in supply chain, research and development, and engineering.
As leader of Ethicon Surgical Care Mr. Austin combined two global franchises, each with sales in excess of $3BB, deployed a new commercial model aligned with changes in the medical device marketplace, and returned the franchise to growth. While heading the infection prevention division he refocused the business on consumables in addition to capital placement and added a focus on the operating suite, driving growth of over 30% in 3 years. He has worked in several other spaces, including medical startups, defense electronics, and hydraulic systems design.
Mr. Austin is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, with a BS in Engineering, and served for over 9 years in the United States Army.
Fred Fung, MD, MS, Scientific Advisor – (MBI)

Dr. Fung has over 28 years of industry experience in clinical epidemiology- infectious disease control serving in various positions in healthcare, academia, and industry, Dr. Fung is a world renowned infection control doctor, epidemiologist and toxicologist with both operational and clinical experience as well as expertise in disease epidemic such as anthrax, Ebola, avian influenza, measles and MERS. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals including as contributing author of “Disaster Medicine” published by Elsevier. In addition, he has been invited to speak in various national and international symposia on infection control and toxicological topics. Dr. Fung’s expertise in food safety includes clinical management, laboratory assessment and epidemiological surveillance of foodborne illness outbreaks.
Dr. Fung has held senior management positions providing strategic and technical consulting services for healthcare, pharma, non-profits, biotechnology, and governmental entities on advanced, innovative technologies from development to post-market that improve efficiencies and quality of healthcare delivery. His particular focus is product development and commercialization of emerging technologies to improve quality of global health. Currently, he serves as voluntary Clinical Professor of Medicine in Occupational & Environmental Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, Laboratory Medical Director for Sharp HealthCare Employee Occupational Health and Pfizer La Jolla, member the Technical Review Committee for Pfizer Global, and Medical Director for the Zenith Insurance Company.
Dr. Fung has also served on the Biosafety committee for the American Industrial Hygiene Association, the Board of Medical Examiners on the subspecialty board of Medical Toxicology administered by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Fung holds an MD degree from Taipei Medical University, an MS degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology from University of California, Irvine School of Graduate
Victor Suresh Ph.D. Aquaculture – (MRP)

Dr. Victor Suresh received his Ph.D. in Aquaculture from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Dr. Victor started his professional career in R&D at Ralston Purina International and has been in the feed sector for the last 16 years in formulation, feed processing technology, new product development and testing, technical marketing and business management. In 2011 he founded United Research (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. a company that provides technical and R&D services to livestock and aquaculture feed sector. The company’s clients include feed manufacturers in Asia, and suppliers to the feed industry throughout the world.
Dr. Victor’s key interests include sustainability of the feed sector by developing alternatives to limited resources like fishmeal and fish oil, development of functional feeds to improve health and welfare of farmed animals, and development of information technology tools in feed management. Dr. Victor has been advising Menon team since 2011.
